To make the loan application process simpler Churches Mutual offers Open Banking. This means that you do not need to directly submit bank statements. We will send you a link by text to the Sercle App which allows you to give us access to open banking through our trusted provider Truelayer. Open banking allows you share your financial data such as your spending habits, regular payments and companies you use (such as, your bank, credit card or savings statements) with authorised providers of financial services such as Churches Mutual. This allows us to make a fair and equitable assessment of your ability to repay a loan, which is in your best interests. Please include access to all the accounts you use for regular income and expenditure transactions. Not all banks are signed up to Open Banking, so if this is the case with your bank there is the facility below to upload bank statements to this application. PLEASE NOTE: If you do not wish to use open banking, or if your bank is not part of ‘Open Banking’ system you must supply a copy of your most recent bank statement for your main account covering a period of 6-8 weeks in order for your loan application to be considered. As part of our affordability assessment we do look at regular expenditure. If you have income and/or expenditure on more than one bank account or use a credit card for 'day-to-day' expenditure please supply statements for those accounts.
